It is hard to pick an area that really stands out on the new iPhone 4S but one of the most impressive facilities on the phone is certainly the excellent camera feature on the phone. If you hold the phone in a horizontal position then the volume key can also be used as a physical shutter button. A host of features are present to assist in capturing the perfect photograph including touch focus, an LED flash and an impressive HDR mode.
The iPhone 4S is not content with offering great still images and also can deliver fantastic video footage. Once again the best quality recording is from the main lens of the rear of the device and this boasts the highest possible quality at 1080P FULL HD resolution. This very high standard is hard to fault on the Retina Display but such is the superb quality it also looks great when transferred to a larger screen such as a PC monitor or home television. Users can access the video mode from the main camera function by toggling a slider at the bottom of the screen and in terms of interface it is nearly identical to the still camera feature although it does boast less options. A video light is available for recording in dark conditions such as parties or in the evening and the front facing lens can also be used to capture footage at 480P resolution.
The iPhone 4S offers a wealth of features and the photography and video options are some of the best on the phone. The quality of image on still photographs is hard to fault while the 1080P video capture look great with excellent detail and colour reproduction.
